Snackpot has no accounts and no database. What you set up stays in your browser, and the only thing measured is anonymous page-view statistics.
Kept on your device
Your household, votes, muted dinners, saved dinners and tonight’s dinner are saved in this browser’s local storage so the app remembers them next time. Your colour theme is saved there too, and a small cookie named SNACKPOT_LOCALE remembers your language for a year. None of this is sent to us or anyone else, and we can’t see it. Erase it from Settings, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Anonymous visit statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It records which page was opened, where the visitor came from, and a rough picture of the browser, operating system, device type and country. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across other sites, and we don’t use it to identify anyone.
Hosting
Snackpot is served by Vercel. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and keep the service secure; we use them for nothing else.
What we don’t do
No accounts, no ads, no selling or sharing of data, and no tracking beyond the visit statistics above.
